I think you probably should ignore these messages. The tried and tested way of seeing if it’s genuine, which I can’t from your attachment (which I’m going to add below as a graphic for everyone else – rather than a PDF which has to be downloaded), is to hover over the From address in the email header. If it isn’t from @google.com it’s most certainly a scam.

@Margaret Lewis raised the issue of her minister wanting to live stream services. Owen came up with this link – https://www.dacast.com/blog/7-best-live-streaming-services-for-your-church/ – which is US=based, but does suggest there should be UK-based services as well.
We now have confirmation that both Find my Past, and Ancestry, are available from the Library online in Worldwide/International editions. Get searching your family history.

Yes, I enjoyed reading your account. Like you, I’ve enjoyed “constructing” stories around events in my ancestor’s lives – filling-in the gaps so-to-speak. Factumentary you might call it, or Life Stories.

remember also my advise, if you do use Fb, or FB Messenger please Logout – I know it’s a pain but there’s a distinct chance that if you don’t Fb will record all your internet comings and goings and you’ll get loads on unsolicited emails, etc.
Great news John. It’s really heartening when you hear someone’s sorted out the problem themselves.. We’ve had a couple of instances of that recently – Ann’s Nest and Margaret’s printer. [Note to self: I must copy and paste their stories over here.]
You may recall my advice on TVs is not to go TOO Smart as the apps have a nasty habit of not lasting as long as the TV platform. This gets upgraded and apps disappear!
I would recommend looking at a great viewing experience linked to a streaming box. Your Skybox might provide this, or alternatively looking at Apple TV or Roku (the platform used by Now TV).
First thing David – WhatsApp (as an app) is restricted in the platforms you can view it in – you’ll remember there’s no app for the iPad for instance. However if your Smart TV (if you purchase one) has a web browser – they usually do – then you can open that and use the web access version of WhatsApp.
The same would go for Messenger (urggh – Fb) – you could access that through a web browser.
I feel I have to say “Well done!” You’ve spurred me on to look at Ubuntu, and I’m just about to reply to your post on that. As far as the other points you made
1) I’ve been goaded by my children into looking at Spotify again. They use it all the time, whereas I subscribe to Apple Music because we bought a HomePod for Christmas and all my Playlists were in iTunes. I don’t use Tags – I probably ought to, but I tend to listen to albums rather than individual songs – but it’s certainly something I ought to look at! Anyway, with all these Playlist in iTunes/Apple Music – how do I get them to Spotify, and vice versa – how do I get their playlists into Apple Music. I found the excellent SongShift app which for the princely sum of £4.99, can move songs between any number of music services. It works brilliantly. Hopefully in the very near future Apple will allow the HomePod to play Spotify as a service.
2) I don’t use any Bookmark service in the browser, because I don’t want to be tied to a browser; I’m currently using Brave – which I really do recommend. It’s built on the same open-source Chromium base-code as Chrome but without all the Googleness. [For the same reasons I use DuckDuckGo as my default search engine.] Anyway I use Pocket to archive articles and also diigo as a portable bookmarker that works across browsers. Look at both of these Phil as an alternative to using the Bookmark Bar in the Browser. I do use Pin Tab a lot these days for sites I frequently visit.
4) Bluetooth still a mystery to me. So you’re one-up on me there. If it works, great; if it doesn’t, I curse and hope it will the next time.
