There have been articles in the Times and the Daily Mail about this topic this week.  Theft of iPhones is being managed by organised criminal gangs and huge volumes of phones are being shipped to China – to the city where many were originally manufactured.  Phone owners can track their phone via their Apple account using the Find My iPhone feature.  The phone is more valuable to the criminals if the phone is removed from the owner’s Apple account and so the criminals send spam emails including lurid threats.  These should be ignored

That’s both fascinating and disturbing Iain. My wife alerted me yesterday to a different and marginally connected item. Old phones are now considered “vintage” and there’s a market for them on car boots, and eBay! Who’d have thought – I’m possibly sitting on a mini goldmine!
