This attachment is a sample of three items so that members can understand what the problem is.  How can I get rid of it?

As the attachment I tried to post is too heavy, I have removed one of the examples, hoping this time I can upload it to this page!

The article on your BT News page refers to a hack of Facebook that happened a couple of years ago. Why this has re-appeared is that this time the contents have been made freely available, whereas before the information had been only made available to “fellow hackers” for a fee!!!

I’m sorry but I can’t explain why you are getting the message in the above attachment.

Are you getting the popup message with every mail message?

So my suggestion about using a different Internet browser irrelevant.

However I have a suggestion as to an alternative way of accessing your mail.

It’s not too difficult to either install an email client app on your laptop – Thunderbird was mentioned last time and point the Inbox at your BTinternet mail server. I would suggest using IMAP protocols. Alternatively, if you have a Google account add your BTinternet account to it. Both should bd a workaround of your annoying new “feature”.

It’s a ‘feature’ of the latest BT Webmail upgrade. See

I do love unrequested “features” that are supposed to improve the users’ experience.
