Just in case anybody got around to reading the story of my ancestor, Rebekha Esmond, I’ve made a rather startling discovery later which adds a rather gruesome ending to her story.

I became totally obsessed with finding out about this lady’s fascinating life story. So much so, that I decided to put it together as a computer presentation featuring sounds and music.

Now, if you’ve read it before, please take another look, although you might want to fast forward to The Epilogue section.

      Here’s the link.

A short story but you’ll need two cups of coffee and a scone to get through it.

Great story, beautifully told. Thanks for sharing. I’ve done similar stories for family members, and when I have the time intend to devote myself to writing similar social history narratives that will make apparent what life was like for my ancestors, very ordinary people.
