  Here I would highlight the Banking apps – which I would recommend everyone to seriously consider using if they have a recent device which has biometric authentication.
  
  Also the Wallet apps which can hold details of store cards – saving space in your physical wallet or purse.
  
  Home control apps, eg Hive
  
  Cardiff Gov app to check on Collection days.
  
  A calculator app
  
  A unit conversion app
  
  Dragon Taxis app
  
  Voice memo app (very useful to record a consultation with a doctor, or anyone else for that matter
  
  A QR Reader app which will quickly take you to a webpage for instance.

Hints & Tips

[12/12/24] Some of the Forums (or is that Fora) have been renamed to map onto Signal groups

[16/07/23] Creation of Apple pie (renamed Mac matters) and Android alert forums. Re-focus of Google gossip towards apps.

[15/01/23] Some of the Forums have been renamed, some Topics have been moved to be in new Forums under a Parent Forum, eg Hardware and Software. Hopefully this will make navigation, and finding a Topic easier, and also make it easier to find the right place to start a new Topic.

[28/04/20] It’s a good idea to provide Tags for your Topic, and also for your Replies – it helps you, and others, to find things.

[27/04/20] I like to check the Notifications box to get an email telling me when someone has replied to a Topic (or my Reply to a Topic) but you can’t reply to the email – you can only Reply in the Topic. It’s just a Notification.
