  Some of you will have seen this; in fact everyone who uses Google Photos should have received an email – https://blog.google/products/photos/storage-changes/ – it heralds a change for Google Photos. Also, it has been predicted, that certain editing facilities will stop being available unless you opt for the chargeable plan. My assessment is that it shouldn’t cause the majority of us any problems [I’m already subscribed to their storage plan, so I’m OK anyway.]

[12/12/24] Some of the Forums (or is that Fora) have been renamed to map onto Signal groups

[16/07/23] Creation of Apple pie (renamed Mac matters) and Android alert forums. Re-focus of Google gossip towards apps.

[15/01/23] Some of the Forums have been renamed, some Topics have been moved to be in new Forums under a Parent Forum, eg Hardware and Software. Hopefully this will make navigation, and finding a Topic easier, and also make it easier to find the right place to start a new Topic.

[28/04/20] It’s a good idea to provide Tags for your Topic, and also for your Replies – it helps you, and others, to find things.

[27/04/20] I like to check the Notifications box to get an email telling me when someone has replied to a Topic (or my Reply to a Topic) but you can’t reply to the email – you can only Reply in the Topic. It’s just a Notification.
