I’ve recommended that you consider subscribing to the weekly newsletter that the Consumers Association produce which they’ve entitled their Scam Alert Service.
This week there are two interesting articles:
One on how the Banking Protocol is being extended to protect victims of scams – this should help in providing you with greater confidence to use online banking and retailing.
The other on how scammers are using Google search to entrap people into linking to fraudulent websites – which might just encourage you to change your search engine of choice to DuckDuckGo, or Bing, or another alternative.
