  I installed the new version of Family Tree Maker 2019 software on the Mac yesterday – an upgrade, I’ve been using it for some while now. It’s the one that links and synchronises with Ancestry so it’s a good piece of software to print reports and store linked media. In other words worth using if you’re interested in genealogy. I got the download sorted and started the install. I was faced with this window – I couldn’t get any further.
  
  What was my problem?

[12/12/24] Some of the Forums (or is that Fora) have been renamed to map onto Signal groups

[16/07/23] Creation of Apple pie (renamed Mac matters) and Android alert forums. Re-focus of Google gossip towards apps.

[15/01/23] Some of the Forums have been renamed, some Topics have been moved to be in new Forums under a Parent Forum, eg Hardware and Software. Hopefully this will make navigation, and finding a Topic easier, and also make it easier to find the right place to start a new Topic.

[28/04/20] It’s a good idea to provide Tags for your Topic, and also for your Replies – it helps you, and others, to find things.

[27/04/20] I like to check the Notifications box to get an email telling me when someone has replied to a Topic (or my Reply to a Topic) but you can’t reply to the email – you can only Reply in the Topic. It’s just a Notification.
